LUNA The Shadow Dust

To light the candle is to cast a shadow.

In 2015, I and three of my friends founded Lantern Studio in order to follow our passion in game design, to make our first indie game LUNA The Shadow Dust. After the successful crowdfunding on Kickstarter, we were able to start the production from mid 2016. Between 2017-2019 I decided to give up working as a freelance artist for a while and devoted all my time and savings to this game. Against all the odds and challenges, LUNA was finally completed and released to the world on Feb 13th, 2020. Since then, we have been blessed by so much support and appreciation from both players and the game industry alike. Working as the only artist on this project and art director of the studio, I learned so much more than I ever imagined. The journey was hard but incredible.

Story and Concept Arts

Inspired by the adventure games of old, LUNA The Shadow Dust is a moving tale of two playable companions, Üri and Layh, drawn together in a hand-animated puzzle adventure, featuring a breath-taking original soundtrack and beautiful 2D cinematics. It is a story about finding back courage and appreciate the love of people around us.
