CHILDREN'S book illustration
Master Owl meets Miss Bunny
In 2019, I had another great opportunity to illustrated and designed Rob Holmes’ new children’s book Master Owl meets Miss Bunny. This is the 2nd book I worked together with the author.
Miss Bunny is sad initially because she thinks she is all alone, a separate body in a world of separate things. However, after some mindfulness with Master Owl, he helps her to look at life in a very different way.

The Little Drop of Water
In 2016, I illustrated and designed Rob Holmes' heartwarming children's literature The Little Drop of Water.
This is a beautiful and comforting book that reminds readers of all ages that we all connected to something much larger than ourselves and that love is eternal.
Kunkush: The True Story of a Refugee Cat
Kunkush is the name of a refugee cat. I was really touched and inspired by this refugee family’s story, in 2017 I illustrated the book written by Marne Ventura. It was a rare opportunity to be able to be part of a project that reveals the hardship of the refugees experience and story.Humanity and kindness are what made us human.
Uses Common Core narrative nonfiction approach to tell the true story of a cat that becomes separated from his family when they flee Iraq for refuge in Europe. Their reunion will bring tears to the coldest heart.
the song of sky and sand
During 2015-2016, I work on two stories by author Stephen Davies, who writes picture books, chapter books, young adult novels, TV tie-ins and educational books. Many of his books are set in West Africa, particularly the Sahel region – the southern 'shore' of the Sahara Desert.
The illustrations and characters design below are from two of his stories, The song of sky and sand / Aziz’s special skill.
